More about MRL:
My idea is to redefine what it means to be a dude, offering practical tools, evidence-based info, and a space that encourages self-compassion and grace. I get it, maintaining my masculinity is important to me too, and I strive to be emotionally intelligent, a healthy partner, and an excellent dad.
You know what else? I’m wired to excel [blame my parents], I want to do things at a high level, mediocrity is not my goal. Some of you may feel the exact same way!
Welcome to Men's Resiliency Lab
Welcome to Men’s Resiliency Lab — a space for men who want to grow, improve, and figure some things out without feeling like they have to have life all together.
I created MRL for men who are working through the challenges of relationships, careers, fatherhood, stress, expectations, and everything else life throws at us. Some guys are ready for therapy, some aren’t there yet, and some are just looking for practical tools and honest conversations about how to become a better version of themselves. The goal here is simple: build resiliency, self-awareness, accountability, determination, and maybe even a little self-compassion. And yes, we’re going to sprinkle in some humor too — because let’s be real, adulting ain’t no joke. Check out the site, sign up for weekly blogs, grab some resources, leave comments, and share with people who might need it.I won’t BS you — eventually, not everything here will be free. The goal is to continue building quality resources, groups, and tools that actually help men navigate real-life challenges.
Because here’s the reality:
You can spend your life beating yourself up about mistakes you’ve made, or you can learn from them, make amends, and decide what happens next.We can dig ourselves out of the holes we find ourselves in — but sometimes we have to be willing to get dirty. Most of the important lessons we learn come with some discomfort. The payoff comes when you do the work, start understanding yourself better, and begin showing up differently. The MRL Group will also be launching soon — a cohort of men committed to having real conversations, building healthier relationships, improving communication, and holding each other accountable while working toward becoming better partners, fathers, leaders, and friends.
Join me as we talk about bouncing back after losses, setting boundaries with unhealthy relationships, finding purpose, and redefining what strength looks like. Some of the things we learned about being men helped us. Some of the things we learned might need an upgrade. But the idea that all masculinity is toxic? Nah, that misses the bigger conversation. Let’s keep the good, challenge what isn’t working, and continue growing.
